The dotted double lined mihrab-shaped cartouche in the middle has the legend ‘Jalaluddin Muhammad Akbar Badshah Ghazi’,
“جلالدین محمد اکبر بادشاہ غازی”
‘Khaldallah Mulkahu’ “خالد اللہ ملکہ” is written on top and mint name ‘Dar-us- Saltanat Ahmedabad’ at the bottom of the cartouche. The mint epithet is Dar-us- Saltanat and the mint name is Ahmedabad, together it reads as Dar-us- Saltanat Ahmedabad. The Reverse is surrounded by the 4 great caliphs (khalifas) names and titles in the, also acknowledged as the Rashidun. They are “(Siddique) Abu Bakr”, who was the first caliph, “(Adale) Umar”, the second, “(haya) Usmaan” the third and “(ilme) Ali” the fourth caliph in the four quadrant, kalima in the center dotted double lined square.
